Hey there — I’m Kyle, the guy behind BuyAChonda.com and the voice you’ve probably seen (or heard) over at Dadbod Bikers.
This site isn’t some corporate affiliate farm — it’s a one-man operation powered by too much coffee, a questionable sense of judgment, and a deep appreciation for cheap motorcycles that probably shouldn’t be this much fun.
I’ve been wrenching, riding, and breaking Chondas for years.
At this point, I’ve built over 15 Chinese motorcycles from the crate up, ridden more than 30 different models, and put 15,000+ miles across every kind of terrain these budget beasts can handle — from highway runs to dirt trails that probably weren’t meant for 400-pound bikes.
Along the way, I’ve learned which brands deserve respect (looking at you, Lifan), which ones need Loctite straight out of the box, and which bikes exist purely to test your patience and your socket set.
BuyAChonda.com exists because there’s a ton of misinformation out there about Chinese motorcycles.
Some of it’s earned. Some of it’s nonsense.
I wanted to create a space that cuts through the noise with honest opinions, actual experience, and the occasional sarcastic comment about factory torque specs that feel optional.
